GippSport is a Regional Sports Assembly (RSA) which covers the entire Gippsland region. There are six local government areas in Gippsland - Baw Baw, Bass Coast, East Gippsland, Latrobe, South Gippsland and Wellington. GippSport is active in all these municipalities from its bases in Wonthaggi, Sale, Bairnsdale and Moe. Moe is also the head office.

GippSport is an Incorporated not-for-profit body and was established in 1992. In 2004, GippSport (Central Gippsland RSA) and Eastern Leisure Networks (Eastern Gippsland RSA) were amalgamated to improve the organisations capacity to deliver across all of Gippsland.
